Moist & sugar free whole wheat chocolate cake

ree

Baking cake and achieving the right texture , taste and flavor without the use of any refined sugar & flour made me feel as though I have discovered magic in the world of desserts ! On many earlier occasions , when some of you have asked me for a ' healthy cake recipe' I have most of the times smiled it off . In in my mind eating a good cake/ dessert is & always has been a moment of pure indulgence and enjoying them ' sugar free' ' flour free' & ' gluten free ' seems till date , a little fussy :) But then , with time perspectives change and the right perspectives make the impossible possible .

And so this happened !

This sugar & flour free chocolate cake recipe is indeed a twist in my baking journey. However since the day I set out achieving this right , I had only one thought in my mind - This bake has to be conceptualized in such a manner such that the texture and taste of the cake remained uncompromised . The obvious choice , therefore , was to use very good quality cocoa and jaggery . Sweet tootsies like me -REJOICE - this is just for you :)

This chocolate cake recipe is something you will absolutely love and one in which , I guarantee , you will not miss a thing. I dare to share this with you since it has passed my picky “sugar-loving” self . Do go ahead and try it in all abundance...
