THB Lazy Gourmet

Updated: Jul 3

Welcome back, Hungry Crew to another reveal.

The Lazy Gourmet is a little series for everyone who loves good food but doesn't always enjoy cooking. We must all agree that not every delicious bite needs a recipe, a sink full of dishes or a full afternoon in the kitchen and sometimes, all it takes is choosing great ingredients and letting them do the heavy lifting. I've always believed that gourmet isn't just about technique. It's about quality, balance & knowing what flavors belong together. A few simple ingredients, when they're the right ones, can create something that feels every bit as special as a dish that took hours to make. So, whether you're hosting friends, putting together a last-minute snack to go with a glass of wine or simply craving something delicious with minimal effort, you are in the right place.

Our favorite listings are as below:

Our 1st recommendation is an Olive & Parmesan Dip. It comes together in minutes, feels just a little indulgent, and disappears even faster. Grab some crusty bread, pour yourself a drink, and let's make something ridiculously simple... and ridiculously good.

Olive & Parmesan Dip

Things you will need

  • 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

  • A few dashes of Balsamic vinegar

  • 1 tbsp finely chopped green olives

  • 1 tbsp finely chopped black olives (optional, for depth)

  • 1 tbsp finely chopped sundried tomatoes

  • 1 small garlic clove, finely grated

  • 1 tsp finely chopped coriander

  • Best quality Parmesan cheese

  • Sea salt

Layer all the ingredients in a shallow bowl with olive oil and balsamic being the base

Let it sit for 10–15 minutes so the flavors melt together.

Serve with warm sourdough, focaccia. Dip & Enjoy

You probably won't believe me when I say this... but these Corn Ribs are ridiculously addictive. I know...it's just corn and that's exactly what I thought too. But one bite in, and suddenly you're reaching for another... and another... and before you know it, the entire batch is gone. They're crispy around the edges, juicy in the middle, and loaded with smoky, buttery goodness. The best part? You don't need fancy ingredients or chef-level skills. Just a sharp Santoku knife, an air fryer, and a few pantry staples.

Trust me—once you make these, regular corn on the cob will never quite hit the same.

In 5 easy steps

  • Carefully slice each cob into quarters lengthwise using a sharp Santoku knife.

  • Season Well – Brush with melted butter or olive oil, then season with paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and a pinch of chili flakes or seasoning of choice

  • Air Fry at 15 minutes, turning halfway, until the corn curls and the edges are golden.

  • Finish Strong – Sprinkle with grated parmesan, fresh parsley, and a squeeze of lime.

  • Serve & enjoy – Pair with garlic aioli, spicy mayo, or your favorite dip, and dig in while they're hot.

  • These disappear much faster than regular corn on the cob :)
